Our Pastor

Brother Kirby Caple and his wife Kathy are from Haskell, AR. He has been pastor at Avilla since April 13, 2011. He graduated with an associate's degree in Bible from the Missionary Baptist Seminary.  He surrendered to the Gospel ministry on January 1, 1995, He has pastored Center Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Hot Springs, AR from September 1999 to May 2002. The Lord then called him to Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in McGehee, AR from May 2002 to May 2006. He then returned home to Haskell where the Lord called him back to Center Hill from September 2006 to February 2010. He then went to his home church New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church from June 2010 to April 2011, where he worked with the youth and helped his pastor, Carl Wright. Brother Kirby has been married to Kathy since March 16, 1990. They are blessed with two sons. Jordan Caple and His wife Mandy Caple of Malvern and Jason Caple of Bryant and fiancé Emilie of Texarkana. He and Kathy are blessed with two grandchildren. Parker and Paityn Caple.  He loves camping, fishing and hunting and spending time with family and friends.
